Her preferred medium are acrylics, but she also works in oil and charcoal. Deborah’s inspiration comes from the landscape usually woodlands and animals, regularly using her pets a source of creativeness. She has a FETAC and City & Guilds qualification in photography; and takes a series of photographs of scenes as a source for her work, often painting the same scene in different seasons. Autumn enchants her, she loves seeing the palette of colours nature brushes across the autumn landscape.

Deborah hopes her artwork transports the viewer into the landscape, or gives them the desire to embrace that cat or dog. If she can do that she feels her piece has succeeded as a work of art.
