Jacinta is a professional artist based on the Carlow/Wicklow border in Ireland. She has a deserved reputation as Ireland’s foremost contemporary canine and equestrian artist.
She graduated with a PhD from University College, Cork, where she lectured for ten years before relocating to an 18th Century rectory on the Wicklow border where she lives surrounded by her horses, dogs and assorted pets.
Jacinta exhibits widely, her work being shown in the Gormley Gallery, Dublin; The Lee Gallery, Cork; The Forge Gallery, Collon, Co. Louth; The Narrow Space Gallery, Clonmel, William St Gallery, Kilkenny, together with one woman shows in various other galleries and locations around Ireland.
She has been part of group shows at the Mall Gallery, London; Christies, London; The Palace House Gallery, Newmarket, England; The United Arts Club, Dublin and the Salon de La Rochelle.
Her paintings are in many corporate and private collections in Ireland, America, Australia, and throughout Europe.
